Bright and beautiful, Song Xiaqun is an established star in China. The 30 year-old will captain the female keelboat class at the Olympic Games. Having competed at the highest level of sailing for many years, she recently made the transition to the Yngling from the 470 dinghy, a class in which she was extremely successful.
After hosting the Europe Worlds in 2005, the 470 worlds in 2006 and the China Water Games, Rizhao recently hosted the China-Japan-Korea Keelboat Friendship Regatta.
